("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (Tenjin Business Center 8F, 1-16-1 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka 810-0001, Japan) is the personal information handling business operator with respect to personal information collected through closer-r.org, under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information ("APPI"). The Company builds proximity-aware service robots for retail and logistics facilities. Our website is used by facility operators, logistics managers, and prospective pilot partners who submit inquiries, request technical information, or register for our pilot program. The personal information we handle is collected in connection with these activities.

2. Categories of Personal Information We Handle

When you interact with closer-r.org, the Company may handle the following categories of personal information:

• Identity and contact information you submit through our pilot inquiry form or contact form -- including your name, company name, job title, business email address, and telephone number;
• Facility and operational details you provide when describing your deployment context, such as facility type, floor size, and current robot or logistics infrastructure;
• Communication content -- messages you send via our contact form or by email to [email protected];
• Technical and usage information collected automatically when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referral source;
• Cookie and session data as described in our Cookie Notice.

We do not collect payment card information, government identification, or biometric data through this website. Pilot program contracts and commercial arrangements are handled through direct correspondence, not through online submission forms.

3. Purposes of Use

The Company uses personal information for the following purposes, which we disclose to you at the time of collection or through this policy:

• Responding to pilot program inquiries and evaluating whether a deployment with your facility is technically feasible;
• Scheduling site visits, pilot scoping calls, and follow-up correspondence with operators who have expressed interest;
• Operating and improving the closer-r.org website, including diagnosing technical issues and understanding which product or safety pages attract the most interest from logistics and retail operators;
• Communicating field notes, product updates, and safety documentation to operators who have opted in;
• Meeting legal obligations, including recordkeeping and responding to regulatory inquiries under applicable Japanese law.

We will not use personal information beyond these stated purposes without your prior consent, except as permitted by APPI.

4. Provision to Third Parties and Cross-Border Transfers

The Company does not sell or rent personal information. We may share personal information with service providers who process data on our behalf -- for example, hosting infrastructure, analytics, or email delivery -- under contractual arrangements that restrict their use of the data to the agreed service purpose and require appropriate security measures.

Where personal information is transferred to processors located in countries other than Japan, the Company obtains prior consent from the relevant individual and provides information about the recipient country's data protection framework, as required by APPI Article 28. Current hosting infrastructure is operated in Japan or in countries with equivalent data protection assessments.

We do not provide personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Your APPI Rights

Under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, you have the following rights with respect to retained personal data held by the Company:

• Right to disclosure of retained personal data the Company holds about you;
• Right to correction, addition, or deletion of retained personal data that is inaccurate;
• Right to cease use or erasure of retained personal data where the information is being used outside the stated purposes, was obtained by unlawful means, or where required by law;
• Right to cease provision of retained personal data to third parties where such provision does not meet APPI requirements;
• Right to disclosure of records of provision to third parties.
